IsoQure® Apromox is an amino-functional silane that may be used over a broad range of applications to improve the bonding between a substrate, filler or reinforcement materials and resins that react with the amino group.

IsoQure® Apromox is especially recommended for thermoplastic resins and thermosetting resins such as epoxy, PBT, or polyurethane. It can improve the physical properties of reinforced plastic, including flexural strength, compression strength and shear strength. It also can improve the dispersion and wet-ability of filler in materials with high molecular weights. IsoQure® Apromox is an excellent adhesion promoter and sealant (e.g. for applications with polyurethane, epoxy, and phenol). In glass wool and FRP products it can be added to phenol resins in order to improve the wet resistance and mechanical performance.
