Isobond^® MW is used as antioxidant and antiozonant into Resorcinol-Formaldehyde-Latex (RFL) dip solutions for dipping cord and technical fabrics. Its function is very important after dipping, drying and hot stretching/relaxation of fabrics. Isobond^® MW creates a protection layer on the dip layer, thereby “mechanically” protecting the dipped fabrics against oxygen and ozone. Most importantly, Isobond^® MW prevents the loss of adhesion of dipped fabrics to rubber during manipulation, storage, sampling etc.
