Insoluble Sulfur is not soluble in carbon disulfide. Its name is high polymer sulfur, IS for short. IsoQure® IS Series contains oil additives in different quantities. In cooperation with the radial truck tire industry we have developed IsoQure® IS Series with a high thermal stability.
Insoluble sulfur is a new rubber vulcanizing agent with which many rubber products can be improved. IsoQure® IS Series is specifically designed to overcome the deficiencies of ordinary sulfur.

Application:
Insoluble sulfur IS-HS series are widely used in natural and synthetic rubbers. Typical applications include: rubber belts, rubber pipes and sealants. IsoQure® IS Series is especially well suited for the production of radial truck tires.
Advantages:
No blooming during the storage of rubber, keeping the performance of rubber composition to avoid bad adhesion to rubber due to the blooming phenomenon. Pollution between rubber and mold is thus prevented.
No transfer in adjacent adhesive layer, keeping the surface of rubber for adhesive molding.
A reduction in scorching in mixing and storage.
A reduction of sulfur by shortening curing time for improvement of aging property of rubber products.
Strengthening of adhesion rubber to other materials.
IS-HS series have high heat stability and reversion resistance to ordinary sulfur at the processing temperature. Safety in rubber mixing at a high temperature is increased.
